Please note that the FCC does not allow the use of a cellphone in an
airplane
while in flight. They do allow cellphone use in the cockpit while
the
plane is on the ground.
Currently, the FAA does not have a
position on cellphone use in the cockpit.
However, they do state that it is
the pilot in command who has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that
portable electronics used in the cockpit do not interfere
with the avionics of the
airplane.
